1. Verify Cigna Eligibility

Becoming a new mom is an incredible adventure—but it’s not always easy, especially when it comes to breastfeeding. Whether you’re expecting your first baby or you’ve been through this before, every mom deserves expert support and encouragement. 

I offer a convenient two-part initial consultation process designed to provide you with comprehensive guidance:
Postpartum Clients:
Expect two appointments during your first week to kick off your support. 

• Initial Virtual Consultation: A 30-minute online session where we’ll discuss your needs from the comfort of your home.
• In-Person Follow-Up within a week: A 45-minute appointment at my office for more in-depth support.
• You’ll also have four follow-up visits to help you achieve your goals, with additional appointments available as needed.

 This structure allows me to cover all the essential topics effectively while honoring  Cigna’s reimbursement criteria, verified through Wildflower Health.

For Pregnant Clients:

• Please book an office prenatal visit to get started.

2. Book Your Lactation Support Sessions

To get started with your lactation support, please follow these simple steps:

1. Use the booking widget below to select your preferred dates and times for both the virtual and in-person consultations. If you are pregnant, book a prenatal office visit.
2. After booking, you'll receive a confirmation email. I'll also be notified of your booking.
3. To finalize your appointments, please confirm your eligibility as soon as possible. Your appointments are not valid until eligibility is confirmed.
4. To confirm eligibility, you have two options:

• Send a copy of your Cigna card to me directly [email protected]

Please note: Appointments fill up quickly, so confirming your eligibility promptly ensures you keep your preferred time slots.

Wildflower Health provides lactation support through a network of International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) for Cigna members. They offer virtual and in-home appointments at no extra cost, ensuring accessible breastfeeding assistance. Wildflower Health directly bills Cigna for services rendered, meaning no out-of-pocket costs for eligible members. This allows you to focus on your breastfeeding journey without worrying about additional fees.
