Welcome! If you have BlueCross BlueShield, Anthem, or certain other commercial insurance plans, you may qualify for no out-of-pocket lactation visits through The Lactation Network (TLN) at my Montclair, NJ office.

How TLN Works

To make breastfeeding support more accessible, I partner with The Lactation Network (TLN), a separate company that handles insurance billing for clients with out-of-network benefits.

How It Works

• Quick Eligibility Check: Click the link below to see if your plan qualifies for TLN coverage
• No Upfront Costs: If approved, your visits are typically fully covered—no copay, no deductible for up to 6 visits.
• In-Person Care: All visits take place at my Montclair office, serving families from Essex County and beyond.
• ​Ongoing Support: Most families benefit from more than one visit. TLN usually covers multiple sessions to ensure you and your baby get the support you need at every stage.

Which Insurance Plans May Qualify?

The Lactation Network (TLN) partners with many major insurance companies to provide fully covered lactation visits. You may qualify if you have a PPO plan from: 

• Blue Cross Blue Shield
• Anthem
• Cigna PPO
• Multiplan
• UnitedHealthcare (most commercial plans)

Most families find out within 24 hours if their plan is accepted.

I am an independent IBCLC committed to providing unbiased, evidence-based lactation care. The Lactation Network's fees and billing practices are separate from mine. They help connect you with lactation care by handling the insurance process. By proceeding, you acknowledge this arrangement.

2. Book Your Visit

Once approved, you’ll receive confirmation and a link to schedule your in-person lactation consultation.

3. Plan for Follow-Up

We’ll discuss a personalized follow-up plan during your first visit—ongoing support is often covered!

Why Multiple Visits Matter

Breastfeeding is a journey, and needs can change over time. Many families find that having more than one visit helps address new questions, track baby’s progress, and build confidence as feeding evolves.

Aetna, Cigna and United Healthcare

Important: If you have Aetna, Cigna, or United Healthcare, please book directly through because I am an in-network provider. This allows me to bill your insurance directly, as required by my agreements with these insurers. UHC requires in-person visits.
Cigna members may also have access to lactation consultations at no additional cost through Wildflower Health.

Self-Pay Option

If you prefer not to use The Lactation Network or do not want to assign your insurance benefits, you can choose to pay for your visits out of pocket. After your appointment, I will provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
